In depth

Verdict

French import Tritonix looks sure to start a warm favourite on only his second start over hurdles, and whilst this is considerably harder than his debut, he remains the selection ahead of Ned Ludd and Intersky Music. The talented Tom O'Brien replaces McCoy on the selection today, although all McCoy had to do last time out was sit and point so the change is no worry. The horse was hard held when coasting to victory at Bangor and the classy flat performer looks to be a class above his opponents today. Ned Ludd rates the main danger after his comfortable victory at Folkestone on Tuesday and he looks to be the one for the forecast. Jonjo O'Neill saddles Intersky Music who was still travelling within himself when falling a week ago at Uttoxeter, and whilst he may be winning in the future, today's race looks a bit optimistic. Tritonix then is the selection in the hope that he can win today on route to bigger things.
