In depth

Verdict

Lord Ryeford stands out in a competitive finale and gets our vote but Intersky Music is a potential improver at this longer trip and Street Life also takes the eye. Tom George went close with Kilbeggan Blade over hurdles on Tuesday and Lord Ryeford is a similar type who reverts to hurdling from a lower mark than over fences. He's still relatively unexposed and is taken to go one better than his stablemate. Street Life is a useful Flat handicapper who's on a fair mark for his handicap bow over hurdles having faced some unrealistic tasks in the past; the market should guide. Cee Cee Rider and Intersky Music are potential improvers at this longer trip with the latter of more interest having shown more over obstacles. Trebello looks to be on the way back, Sawpit Sunset enters calculations, Great Grimsby would have claims if able to reproduce his bumper form and Full Of Zest is also of interest. Plenty to consider but Lord Ryeford has plenty going for him and will do for us.
