In depth

Verdict

Tetlami had no chance against Overturn at Musselburgh last time but wasn't entirely convincing when winning on his chasing debut at Kempton. He may struggle to give 7lb here to TONY STAR providing the latter has recovered from a fall at Wincanton last month. Philip Hobbs' useful hurdler had earlier finished fourth at the same track in a Grade 2 that's worked out well. Act Of Kalanisi has been quite highly tried since winning at Leicester in November but his jumping has let him down on occasions while Jackies Solitaire never looked like following up her Catterick win at Newbury last time and is another with jumping issues. Torran Sound looks best of the rest as Grey Gold has been off the track for more than a year.
