Despite the big field, this won’t take much winning. THE FLAME was placed at Stratford on his second start over timber and also in a bumper on his debut under Rules. He won a point-to-point earlier so this step up in distance will suit and he can see off this bunch. Run Don't Hide’s third at Wincanton was a major step forward but whether he’ll reproduce that form here is anybody’s guess. Bridane Rebel is probably more reliable while La Fille Francaise looks the pick of Robin Dickin’s pair. Waikiki Waves and Capsy De Mee are others with each-way claims.
