Verdict

Bafana Boy is preferred to Commercial Express and Prince Adjal. Nicky Richards looks to have a useful individual on his hands and while he made hard work of landing the odds on his most recent start, a genuine run race should play to his strengths and he can cope with yet another rise up the handicap. Commercial Express finished behind him on that day and could be expected to have come on for that first run for a new stable. Prince Adjal lost no caste in defeat to Dalawan at Ayr. The drying ground might not be too his advantage. Cha Cha Cha Dancer emphatically landed a seller but failed to deliver on a subsequent return. Polly Whitefoot is an infrequent winner and might find this trip stretching her stamina so the percentage call is to oppose. Bob's Dream has fewer miles on the clock than most and could be a player if learning how to settle. Talarive has a habit of popping up occasionally at bigger prices and could be worth an each-way look if the market speaks in his favour. Berkeley House has been on a long losing run and recent form is hardly inspiring. Plenty of deadwood among those that go to post and Bafana Boy is taken to continue his progression through the grades.
