Verdict

Highland Cathedral made mistakes but found enough after the last to hold off Beau Traveller, who is now 4lb better off, over C&D last month. Winner of his two previous starts between the flags, James Walton's eight-year-old is certain to be a factor again today but the well-connected RAPIDOLYTE DE LADALKA arrives with a tall reputation and there will be a few long faces around local permit holder Simon Shirley-Beavan's yard if he fails to make a winning start to his career under Rules. Dontpassgo could be challenging for a place but the likes of Dust Packer and Tommysteel may find this too tough.
