In depth

Verdict

The market is likely to tell us a great deal, so give that the twice over but, without that, we will side with A Boy Named Sioux ahead of Carriage Ride. Rose Davidson takes the ride on the selection and this pointer comes here in very good heart from that sphere. As we say, the betting should provide plenty of clues. There are plenty of recent winners in the race, including Birkwood, Just Barney Boy, Natiain and Thunder Hawk while Nicky Richards runs Carriage Ride, and they all have to be considered. As we say, watch the betting, but the vote goes to A Boy Named Sioux.
