In depth

Verdict

Snowed In has won 10 of his 110 career starts but is only a plater nowadays and was behind Calliope and Lucky Icon here last month. Red Ochre can’t get much lower in the weights but it’s a while since he showed any worthwhile form. Gun Merchant is nicely treated on his form over fences and in Ireland but the vote goes to COUP DE GOLD, who is fit from the Flat and has already placed twice over hurdles this season under Aaron Anderson.
