In depth

Verdict

Wild Sam finally won a race at Market Rasen in August but was only fourth when favourite at Sedgefield off this mark next time. Not The Chablis hinted at ability last season and doesn’t look badly handicapped. Izzy's Champion was third over a shorter trip here last month and enters calculation but we’ll give another chance to NORWEGIAN WOODS (NAP), who has been dropped 3lb since finishing fourth on his handicap debut at Uttoxeter and has Charlie Price taking off another 6lb in this.
