In depth

Verdict

Several of these are fancied to hold their own on the northern circuit this winter. They include Lively Baron, who has won on soft ground, Bocciani and You Know Yourself. Lucinda Russell's pair Lord Redsgirth and Bescot Springs appear to have their fair share of weight at present, however, while O Crotaigh has generally performed better on quicker ground than he'll encounter today. Fitness could be key and ROSSINI'S DANCER looked well before running away with a lesser contest over 2m5f at Perth 10 days ago. He stays further and can make the most of his sharpness here.
