        Verdict

        Scutch Mill has been good value for his last two successes and is taken to defy the 8lb rise for the latest success, getting the verdict ahead of Super Baby and Augustine. The last mentioned has run consistently well in novice hurdles of late and could be of interest first time in a handicap. Transit is capable but inconsistent, while Le Rouge Fatal has disappointed in two starts this term and may be best watched at present. Super Baby showed improved form on his return at Carlisle last month and has to be respected on that evidence but Scutch Mill is in form and gets the vote to carry on winning ways.
