Verdict

A quartet of recent winners look to defy a penalty. Green Flag was sent off favourite at Hexham and duly obliged with the minimum of fuss. He's just preferred to Grouse Lodge, who was also a winning favourite when scoring at Uttoxeter. Maggio won over a longer trip at this track on his reappearance but STREAMS OF WHISKEY looks to have the stronger form as he won over C&D on his first start for Nicky Richards and the third has since gone very close. The remainder are playing catch up with Bop Along and Firth Of The Clyde perhaps the best of them.
