Verdict

A competitive contest gets proceedings under way and many have chances on there best form, but we will take a chance on Pikestaff. The gelding from the Maurice Barnes yard won well over course and distance last time when defeating Skinfirth and although this is a more competitive contest he will not be far away with conditions again in his favour/ Red Lion rates the main danger on his best form and with Mick FitzGerald taking over from an amateur he should improve. After Puck is an Irish raider from a shrewd yard and with Timmy Murphy taking the ride he will not be far away.Shaffishayes won a seller in good style last time out but this is much more competitive. However his stable remains in top form. Boss Tweed is well in on his best form but he has become very disappointing of late. Of the remainder Cosmic Song is from a shrewd yard and should be noted in the market.
