In depth

Verdict

Only three runners go to post here and we will side with Yes Sir over Maringo and Uncle Neil. The selection looks to have been found a fairly straightforward opportunity here as he has been running in much better company than this. He was a little disappointing last time but that was over 2m and he will be suited by this step-up in trip and he sets the benchmark for the other two. Maringo will give him the most to think about but he was beaten a long way over this course and distance last time and he will have to step-up on that effort if he is to trouble the judge. Uncle Neil was pulled-up over this course and distance last time and although he has won on fast ground, he is at his best when the mud is flying. We are therefore happy to recommend Yes Sir as the selection.
