Verdict

Mosqueras Romance has developed a frustrating habit of finishing second and connections will be hoping Frankie Dettori can provide that little bit extra needed to get her head in front. A big run from Baylini in the previous race on the card would boost confidence in the progressive Fanditha, who has something to find on these terms but may not have stopped improving, while Night Lily continued on her upward curve with a victory at Lingfield last time and she's worth a try at this level. Agony And Ecstasy and Bahati were both placed in Listed events last year but are making their seasonal debuts, as is FUN AFFAIR, who won her maiden at Wolverhampton in September beating a couple of subsequent winners. Judged on that form, a handicap should be hers for the taking off her current mark, so it looks significant that John Gosden chooses to run her in this higher grade and she gets the vote.
