Verdict

SUNSHINE ALWAYS is fancied to take all the beating although he's closely matched with Jiggalong, Equipe De Nuit and Portugese Caddy at the weights. The selection recorded a most impressive victory at Wolverhampton on debut and has been a warm order ever since, retuning a beaten favourite three times. In fairness, he hasn't run too badly despite not living up to expectations and he should be able to make the most of the drop in grade. Jiggalong receives plenty of weight and has run well in low grade handicaps the last twice which gives her claims if handling the surface. Equipe De Nuit hasn't fulfilled the promise of his juvenile season but he wasn't beaten too far in a similar contest at Yarmouth at the weekend and could be involved. Portugese Caddy has claims on the figures but his recent efforts haven't offered much encouragement and a better option may be Head Down who has his first run for a new yard. Hold The Bucks lacks a run but has plenty in his favour otherwise although he could struggle to contain Sunshine Always.
