Verdict

Tournament ended a long losing run with last month’s course and distance success when FLY finished third. But that was the latter’s first start of the year and James Fanshawe’s filly can return to winning ways in this having won all three starts last term, including a double over track and trip. Blacklister’s winning run came to an end in a tougher race than this last time and this is more his level while Force is upped only 4lb for winning at Chepstow and can also figure. Cloudberry and Lastmanlastround won maidens at Bath and Thirsk respectively and are others to consider in a competitive opener.
