Verdict

Cliff Face missed out on hat-trick when second in an amateurs’ race at Catterick in August. Course winner POWER GAME is preferred with a couple of runs in September under his belt and Josephine Gordon taking 3lb off his back for this. Sunblazer was well beaten over 2m last time but had been thereabouts over today’s trip before that while Plymouth Sound was placed at Salisbury before failing to figure over track and trip last time. Prince Of Arran is not badly treated on his earlier course wins but has not raced since June.
