Unless support comes for Blessed Biata or Bird In The Wind this may boil down to a match between DARAJAAT and Azzoom, with the former preferred. Marcus Tregoning's filly is out of a very smart and precocious dam who won over this trip and showed on debut that she too should do the same, when just denied in second. The form of that race is yet to be tested but the feeling is it was a strong Newbury maiden and compensation awaits. Azzoom also took second on her debut but she looked very fit on that occasion so it remains to be seen how much improvement there is to come, although with Ryan Moore booked connections must be hopeful. Blessed Biata is likely to find six furlongs sharp enough even at this stage but support would be encouraging for backers while Bird In The Wind makes appeal more because of her trainer's fine record in maidens at this venue than her pedigree.
