In depth

Verdict

Compton Prince has looked in the handicapper's grip since scoring at Lingfield in February. Meridius went close despite finishing only fourth over 7f here a fortnight ago while Haadeeth and New Rich are both capable of popping up off their current marks. Exceedexpectations could also get involved but another chance goes to AEOLIAN BLUE. She's gone close in both subsequent starts since scoring over course and distance and first-time headgear may bring the small amount of improvement needed to go in again.
