        Verdict

        Mambazo is in tremendous form and can complete a hat-trick in the finale, with Romany Nights a clear danger and Wrighty Almight perhaps best of the rest. The Stuart Williams-trained selection has taken similar contests to this at both Lingfield and Wolverhampton and tries to complete the hat-trick of different polytracks in as many attempts. Judging by his lastest win, where he had any amount in hand, a 6lb penalty won't be enough to stop him this time. Romany Nights also won last time out at, here over c&d, when running on well to get up and beat Dvinsky. On the face of it a 6lb penalty looks more difficult for him to defy than the selection so we oppose. Wrighty Almighty drops back to 6f from a mile here and is in decent form. As this is not a hot race he may be able to make the frame although he is unlikely to possess the speed to win. Scarlet Knight could do with a drop in the weights and preference here is for Mambazo who is a confident choice.

        Young Bertie 8-1 (8-9) In touch, pushed along 3f out, soon weakened, 13th of 14, 8l behind Glencalvie (8-13) at Lingfield 7f hcap (5) gf in May.

        Wrighty Almighty (IRE) 5-1 (9-4) Held up in mid-division on outer, headway over 2f out, soon ridden and stayed on same pace after, 7th of 17, 5l behind Napoletano (9-0) at Lingfield 7f hcp 0-65 (6) gf in Jun.
