    In depth

    Verdict

No winning form on offer as Singe Du Nord was demoted to second after hampering a rival when passing the post first at Southwell last month. A liking for the Fibresand may have been responsible for that big improvement but Lee Roy also left his previous poor form behind when fourth over track and trip on his handicap debut when finishing in front of Elysian Lady. Rajman beat Drummer Jack a length when third over 7f at Chelmsford last time but a chance is taken on the aptly-named POT LUCK. She’s yet to threaten over shorter distances but pedigree suggests today’s extra furlong will suit on her return from a lay-off.
