This handicap is wide open and narrow preference is for Postmaster over the likes of Grenane and Bold Phoenix. The selection is quickly turned out after going close behind Having A Ball here on Wednesday. He has a fair draw today and he can gain his compensation. Grenane has been a bit disappointing of late but he showed some of his old sparkle when he went close at Wolverhampton last time; he gets this trip and he could be capable of another big run from a good high draw. Bold Phoenix wasn't disgraced at Lingfield last time behind Charlottebutterfly and the simple fact is he should be sharper for that run as he was returning from a lengthy break that day. The draw in stall 1 will make life tough for Foreign Edition, although the booking of Seb Sanders in the plate is a big plus. However, this looks a good opportunity for Postmaster who can post an overdue success.
