      Verdict

Alnwick gets the tentative vote over Synonymy, Rose Bien and Coda Agency is a contest where many in-and-out sorts are lining up. Proven stayer Alnwick is a consistent sort with his last outing the most disappointing of late. Tactics were changed when connections opted to make the running which did not appear to suit and expect more patient tactics today. Another proven stayer Synonymy comes here after a recent win at Wolverhampton when ironically more forcing tactics appeared to work. Rose Bien will be more suited to the increased distance today as she appeared to get outpaced over 12f around here last time. Coda Agency was a course and distance winner on his penultimate start and cannot be left from calculations. Alnwick is selected to land the stayers' handicap.
