    Verdict

Position finally returned to winning ways at Wolverhampton last week despite looking high enough in the weights before the race. A 6lb penalty tempers enthusiasm for him and TRADER JACK makes more appeal. He went close at Goodwood last month when finding only Blue Surf too good and can go one better in this. Nicholascopernicus won a couple of lower grade handicaps in June and this looks tougher while the remainder are all looking to put recent poor efforts behind them. Silent Moment and Assizes make most appeal of those if doing so.
