Verdict

HAULANI continued his rapid progress when following an easy maiden win with a four-length success at Salisbury on his handicap debut. Not surprisingly, he has a hike in the weights to contend with but looks worth sticking with. Gravity Wave beat a subsequent winner when landing a maiden and will be hoping to fare better on his handicap debut than Northdown did on his. The latter was a well-beaten runner-up here last time while Al Hamdany, Wahash and Law Power have also been beaten in handicaps lately. Pacofilha improved for the step up to a mile last time and could go well.
