Verdict

OUR CHANNEL looks to have every chance of repeating last year’s success in this racing off a similar mark. He was up against it in Listed company behind Decorated Knight at Lingfield last time and will find this much easier. Both Manson and Captain Cat have proved best over shorter trips so far and neither arrive in good form while Abareeq has won over a mile here but hasn’t raced since November. Maiden winner Allumage missed the whole of last year and has her first start for new connections and Getback In Paris has joined Richard Hughes after a couple of outings over timber.
