Verdict

Takitwo can land the finale, possibly at the main expense of Mythical Charm and Dr Synn. Others to note include: Million Percent, who is in good heart and can go well despite carrying top weight, while Gifted Flame is better than he has consented to show of late and is worthy of consideration now that he has fitness on his side. Dr Synn has shaped up well of late and will be a threat if translating the best of his efforts to the All Weather. The son of Danzero never landed a blow on his solitary previous visit to Kempton, so he needs to prove himself on the surface. Mythical Charm has nothing to fear on that score and is a serious player despite his 6lb penalty. This is a tougher race than the lads race he won at Goodwood, though. Therefore, we prefer the proven form of Takitwo, who is a previous course and distance winner that has fared well with the draw. Jamie Hamblett knows him well and we fancy he can get the best out of Takitwo tonight.
