Always Ready gets a narrow vote over Spell Caster and Bronze Cannon, with Noble Citizen, Huzzah and Semah Harold best of the remainder. Always Ready is still a maiden, but has gone close to opening his account on no less than four occasions, including when just touched off in a Yarmouth nursery last time. Surely he will come good sooner rather than later, and as long as he handles the Polytrack, must take a hand in the finish. Spell Caster came from way off the pace to be sixth in a valuable sales race at Ascot last time, and although lacking in experience, has the ability to also take a hand in the finish, while Bronze Cannon did not beat much over the course-and-distance 17-days ago, but is a progressive Gosden inmate. Noble Citizen opened his account last time and is going the right way, Huzzah lines up on the back of a recent win but carries a penalty, and any support for Semah Harold, who hails from a stable whose juveniles have been punted of late, should be noted. An open nursery can go to Always Ready.
