Verdict

April Fool won six times last year and can race off a lower mark on the all-weather. However, she may just need the outing having been off the track since October and MORAL ISSUE makes more appeal. He produced his best effort since scoring at Catterick off a 6lb higher mark in July when runner-up at Wolverhampton last time and Ian McInnes' charge gets the vote to go one better. Tourist arrives on the back of a win at Lingfield and can figure again, while Jo Boy has been placed over C&D but is returning from a lengthy lay-off.
