Verdict

DUKE COSIMO looks to have leading claims in this company on his handicap debut. He landed a maiden at Pontefract by three lengths last month and is preferred to Saga Lout and Smokethatthunders as the latter pair were both well beaten in handicaps last time. Kodatish is more exposed though posted a better effort at Lingfield in December, but Time For Lambrini will need to improve on last year's efforts if she's to figure. Clearing and Baron Run are others handicapping for the first time and may finish closer as a consequence.
