        Verdict

        Fanoos won in soft ground at Redcar when last seen on a racecourse but will likely be a short enough price on her first start since October. SHAOLIN makes more appeal as he went close over a mile off today's mark last time having beaten Fab Lolly over track and trip before that. The latter is slightly better off on today's terms but not as well drawn as the selection. Diplomatic has been running consistently well over 8f in this grade but Shaunas Spirit appears to have gone off the boil after landing a double at the end of last year. Khajaaly is another to consider with an apprentice's 7lb claim in his favour.
