In depth

Verdict

MASTER ARCHER gets another chance stepping up in distance on the back of a couple of placed efforts over 1m6f on the Turf with George Wood’s allowance further helping his cause. Munstead Star won a maiden over 1m4f here last time and has only her second start in a handicap while Plage Depampelonne also steps up in distance off a 5lb higher mark after scoring over 1m6f at Redcar. Sussex Ranger was placed over 2m at Goodwood recently and is preferred to Lethal Impact, a well beaten third over course and distance a fortnight ago.
