In depth

Verdict

Byrony and Sonning Rose are both likeable fillies but both have had plenty of racing and they may be vulnerable to the potential of SEATTLE DRIVE. David Elsworth's colt impressed on his debut when beating subsequent winner Fulgur and possibly bettered that run at Newbury when just touched off by a stablemate of Byrony. This surface is an unknown but providing he copes he could take some beating with the prospect of further improvement to come. Byrony has already shown a liking for this venue and should stay the mile so may be the biggest threat, although Sonning Rose is officially the highest rated horse on display and will find this easier than her recent Irish assignment. Navigation Track makes his debut in a competitive contest but needs a check in the market as he's bred to do well at around this trip, more so than stable companion Al Mayasah.
