    Verdict

TABULATE is our call with Altos Reales and Prince Of Medina the alternatives. Paul Howling's mare was stuck on the rail with nowhere to go on Monday much to the chagrin of her backers. Jimmy Quinn replaces Paul Doe this afternoon and with the rider in good form at present, he can make all the difference. Altos Reales showed well for a long way on reappearance. The chance to blow off the cobwebs will not have been lost upon him. Prince Of Medina can be given a solid chance on the basis of a second to Carlton Scroop last month. That said, he hasn't taken any of the other similar opportunities of late. Darley Star has shown little for Ron Harris since leaving Clive Brittain. Charlie Bear continues in cheekpieces. Time may tell that Sir Haydn faced a hopeless task against Tusculum in a classified stakes at the track last time out. A race of limited appeal to the punting public but Tabulate should be up to landing it.
