        Verdict

        CAPTAIN SCOOBY just held off the attentions of Italian Tom when scoring over C&D last month with Sermons Mount and Gooseberry Bush well behind. He's fancied to follow up having run well again at Wolverhampton last Saturday. Pick A Little landed a claimer at Southwell before posting a below-par effort at this track three weeks ago, while Fleetwoodsands has something to prove over today's distance as his best form so far has come over an extra furlong. Decimate could prove best of the rest with a recent run under his belt.
