Verdict

Six Wives and Lady Pattern are sure to be popular with punters here, but we prefer the claims of SHARK MAN who gets our vote. A number of the fancied runners have not been done any favours by the draw in this contest, and Six Wives and Lady Pattern will certainly have it all to do from stalls one and two respectively. Shark Man has fared slightly better with the draw in stall five and he did overcome a poor draw to win here last time out in this grade over 7f. The drop in trip will not inconvenience him and he should make a bold bid to register another success. Public Service disappointed at Wolverhampton last time but he had previously gone close at Lingfield and he does have a good high draw today. Zelos Dream is in good form and this slightly longer trip will not inconvenience after her win over the minimum trip last time. An open event and the vote goes to Shark Man.
