        Verdict

        Cane Cat and Abigails Angel have claims on their recent placed efforts but still look a shade high in the weights. In contrast, VALLEY TIGER nearly followed up a victory at Wolverhampton when runner-up back at the same track last time and Richard Fahey's charge looks up to scoring again off his current mark. Storm Runner appears to be in the handicapper's grip now and Brown Pete may reverse earlier running on better terms, while Galloping Minister and Hathaway can be given a shout on the pick of their form.
