Verdict

Ahaazeeg has improved slightly with his first two runs, but winners on the dam's side of the pedigree have come over shorter trips although the sire adds some stamina. Hecton Lad showed little promise on debut to be worth backing on this occasion whilst Santa Margherita was much closer last time and will be looking to build on that improvement. KRISTALETTE is related to plenty of middle-distance winners and is heading the right way with each run so we side with Walter Swinburn's option here, especially as the trainer has a 21% strike-rate here this year. Astral Flower will be a big danger as she handles the Polytrack and has a hat-trick of near misses recently and is from a highly respected yard. Polebrook and Corres are both starting to get the hang of this trip but are too inconsistent to recommend.
