Verdict

Actonetaketwo returned to winning ways over the track and trip last month but all of her three victories have come in Class 7 events and she's been raised 5lb. Welsh Inlet has won over a mile but is better over 7f on Polytrack unlike Bennelong, whose most recent runs have been over further. The latter is expected to go well again though it's the lightly-raced EXALTED, who was making his handicap and Polytrack debut when attempting to make all over the course and distance last month and only faded in the closing stages, who gets the nod. Tijuca, who won from a mark of 58 last year, was down to 52 when gaining a surprise-but-emphatic victory at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago and, if in that kind of mood, will take some stopping despite an 8lb rise.
