Verdict

CLOG MAKER stands out in this opener despite returning from a lay-off. His debut fourth at Haydock last year is the strongest form on offer with four of his six rivals on that occasion going on to win - Mark Johnston’s colt gets the vote. The remainder with experience have yet to threaten but Oisin Murphy is back from a successful stint in Japan and partners the speedily-bred Lexington Storm with the latter preferred to fellow newcomers Rogue Tide and Bursea Lady.
