In depth

Verdict

Deal Clincher may be the answer to this hugely competitive nursery. Grand Honour and The Dial House are amongst others that could go well. The selection is well berthed and has made steady progress from each start to the next; latterly over six furlongs here where she raced prominently before staying on at the one pace. The longer trip should suit and she may be able to get involved. Grand Honour drops down from Listed company and merits respect but may be a shade high in the weights as a result of his latest effort. The Dial House stayed on well to win over six last time and this extra furlong should be well within his scope; his form is fairly solid and he merits a place on the short-list. Gassal hasn't built on a promising debut but still deserves a cursory look as do the majority of these as most are open to improvement as they step up in trip. Scenic Pass, Entrancer and Swingfire are others deemed worthy of mention in a difficult contest but it's Deal Clincher that gets the vote.
