Verdict

There was plenty to like about RED ENSIGN's debut over 7f at Newbury where he stayed on nicely once getting the hang of the job. He's up against some potentially decent newcomers but his experience can see him home. City Limits cost 100,000gns as a foal and more than double that as a two-year-old so must have impressed someone and the half-brother to two winners is one to keep an eye on. Draw Swords is by Dansili out of a mare who produced a winner with her first foal to race and Mr Maximum is a half-brother to three winners. Al Handany hasn't done much wrong in two starts at Chelmsford and should get into the action.
