        Verdict

        Bookmaker won an apprentices' race over 6f at Lingfield during the week and is a winner without a penalty. But, along with a several of these, finished well behind the runner-up CHELWOOD GATE at the same track earlier. The latter should confirm running here and Patrick Chamings' charge is also preferred to Shotgun Start, a close-up third at Wolverhampton recently. Hardy Black and Baltic Prince should both go well but have something to find with the selection on latest running.
