Verdict

A couple of potentially-useful juveniles make their hurdling debuts in this. Stars Over The Sea is a son of Sea The Stars and won a couple of times on the Flat as a two-year-old for Mark Johnston. He's found life tougher this year but has the size to make a jumper. ALL SET TO GO is preferred, however, as he had subsequent Irish Derby runner-up Kingfisher behind when third in a Group 3 at Navan in April and will also have had plenty of schooling. Gladstone won a claimer at Maisons-Lafitte in June and will have no problem with the trip so also warrants a mention.
