Verdict

Saeed bin Suroor sent out last year’s inaugural winner and runs two in this. Ripon winner Beauvais found one too good carrying a penalty at Pontefract in June while DUBAI FUTURE opened his account with a victory over 1m2f at Windsor back in July. Both the latter’s half-brother and dam won over today’s trip and he gets the vote to defy a penalty on his return. Casual Reply was narrowly beaten over a longer distance when sent off favourite at Chelmsford last month but King Power disappointed last time having finished a close-up fourth at Ascot earlier.
