In depth

Verdict

It looks like it will be a while before most of these are winning, including King Vahe. He has something to prove now after disappointing here last time following a promising debut. Petersboden finished three lengths behind the thoroughly exposed Emman Bee when fifth at Lingfield on his introduction but may well reverse running with improvement expected, though VIOLA DA GAMBA has the best form on offer. She ran well in three starts on the turf last year, culminating in a second at Folkestone in August, and is taken to make a winning reappearance.
