In depth

Verdict

Progressive Dawn opened her account with a course and distance success but several of these may improve past her today. Boffo was placed at Lingfield on his debut and is preferred to the returning Enzemble, a runner-up at Sandown in September last year. Equidae was also placed last season but stablemate and newcomer Kings Highway sports his owner's first colours while Staunch is another making a belated seasonal debut having found one too good at Wolverhampton when last in action. UNTIL AGAIN was beaten four lengths at Windsor on last month’s introduction but the winner, Humbolt Current, has won a couple of handicaps subsequently so it’s Andrew Balding’s filly that gets the nod on that form.
