In depth

Verdict

Trecase scored over 1m2f here a week ago and, though stepping up a grade today, he's only been raised 2lb and should figure again. FIRE IN BABYLON got off the mark over C&D last month and his latest second to Kai Mook came only a week later. That may have been too soon and Michael Wigham's unexposed gelding gets the vote refreshed from a short break. Beneath and Port Hill are both capable of making the frame off their current marks, while less than a length separated Land Hawk and Striding Edge at Wolverhampton last time.
