Verdict

Sparrow Hills has put Steven Dixon on the map this season with a couple of hard-fought wins in decent company at Wincanton. He only found Mickmacmagoole too good at Ffos Las earlier this month but has been put up a further pound since. The handicapper may also have got to the hat-trick seeking Pere Blanc, while Aather finds little off the bridle and is trying a new trip today. Royale's Charter looks very one paced but Gee Dee Nen came back to form over C&D last month, though there might be a chance that OSTLAND will reverse that form here. Charlie Longsdon's six-year-old isn't an easy ride but that was only his second start since returning from a break and he probably has the ability to figure off this mark if he can be persuaded to do his best.
